Eligible startups receive full access to SparrowDesk’s top-tier (Enterprise) plan, with all features unlocked, at a discounted rate for up to three years. This article explains how the program works, how discounts are applied, and what to expect during the program period.
The Startup Program is designed for early-stage software and technology startups that want to scale customer support efficiently while managing costs.
Once approved, your SparrowDesk account is placed on the Enterprise plan and receives startup-specific, time-based discounts. These discounts reduce your subscription cost gradually over three years, allowing a smooth transition to standard pricing as your startup grows.
Startup discounts are applied automatically after your application is approved and your account is activated under the Startup Program.
The discounts follow a phased, multi-year structure, ensuring that startups can continue using SparrowDesk’s full platform while progressively adjusting to standard Enterprise pricing.
No manual activation or additional requests are required once approval is complete.
In Year 1, your Enterprise plan is discounted by 90%.
This allows early-stage teams to start using SparrowDesk with minimal upfront cost, while accessing the complete Enterprise feature set during initial growth. Get 300 free AI resolutions monthly to automate replies.
In Year 2, your Enterprise plan continues at a 50% discount compared to standard Enterprise pricing.
You retain full access to all Enterprise features as your customer base and support volume grow. No changes to your configuration or usage are required.
In Year 3, your Enterprise plan receives a 25% discount off standard pricing.
This final phase supports a smooth transition to regular pricing. There are no feature restrictions, no lock-ins, and no service interruptions during or after this phase.

Early-stage software or technology startups that meet the eligibility criteria listed above can apply.
2. How long does approval take?
All applications are reviewed manually. You’ll receive a response within 2 business days via email.
3. Are AI features included in the Startup Program?
Yes. The program includes 300 free AI resolutions per month.
Any additional AI usage is billed at standard AI pricing.
4. Are there any usage limits?
There are no hard usage caps.
The Fair Usage Policy applies to ensure fair access for all startups. Excessive or non-support usage may trigger a review.
5. What happens if I exceed normal usage?
If your usage exceeds normal levels, we’ll notify you first.
If high usage continues, we may suggest moving to a custom Enterprise plan.
6. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan during the program?
Startup Program accounts are on the Enterprise plan.
Downgrades are available after the 3-year program period ends.
7. Can I add more seats during the program?
Yes. There is no seat limit.
Any additional seats follow your current year’s discount rate.
8. What if my startup grows or gets acquired?
If your team grows beyond 50 employees, you remain in the program for the full term.
If your startup is acquired, Startup Program benefits cannot be transferred to another existing SparrowDesk account.
9. Can I extend the Startup Program?
No. The Startup Program is limited to three years and cannot be extended.
10. Will I lose data after the program ends?
No. Your data and settings remain unchanged.
Only the billing rate changes after the program ends.
11. Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There is no lock-in.
You only pay for the active billing period.
12. Can I reapply if my application is rejected?
Yes. You can reapply after 3 months if your details have changed.
13. Is the Startup Program available globally?
Yes, except in regions restricted by trade laws.
14. Can I migrate from another helpdesk?
Yes. SparrowDesk supports imports from Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk, and other platforms.
15. What onboarding help is provided?
You’ll get access to onboarding resources, templates, and Help Center articles.
Some startups may also receive dedicated onboarding assistance.
16. Can startups get featured or partner with SparrowDesk?
Yes. Participating startups may be highlighted in community features, case studies, and co-marketing campaigns.
SparrowDesk is intended for legitimate customer support use.
Not allowed:
