Notion integration allows you to import pages and articles from your Notion workspace directly into your SparrowDesk knowledge base, so your support content stays current without manual uploads.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • An active SparrowDesk account with knowledge manager access.
  • An active Notion account with access to the pages you want to import.

Connect Notion to SparrowDesk

  1. In SparrowDesk, go to the Knowledge tab.
  2. Click Add Source and select Notion.

  1. You will be redirected to Notion. Sign in to your Notion account and select the pages you want to share with SparrowDesk.

  1. Once you grant permission, you are returned to SparrowDesk and content begins fetching automatically.

Configure sync settings

After connecting, choose how you want content to stay updated:

  • One-time import- fetches your selected Notion pages once with no further syncing
  • Periodic sync- automatically fetches updated content, weekly by default

Select your preferred option and save.

Manage imported content

Once content is imported, manage it from the Zoona AI knowledge tab:

  • Use the side peek to preview any imported Notion page, just like other knowledge articles
  • Enable or disable training for individual pages as needed
  • Knowledge managers can enable or disable the entire integration at any time

Add another Notion workspace

SparrowDesk supports multiple Notion workspaces. To add another, repeat the connection steps and authenticate with a different Notion account. Each workspace is managed independently.

Remove the Notion integration

  1. Open the Knowledge tab, then click the more options menu (⋯) next to the Notion integration.
  2. Select Disconnect workspace
  3. Confirm in the modal to disconnect.

No further syncing will occur after removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens to my training if I deselect pages during re-authentication?
Pages you deselect are excluded from future syncs, but their existing training is retained in your knowledge base.

2. Can I connect more than one Notion workspace?
Yes. SparrowDesk supports multiple Notion workspaces and accounts. Each is managed separately from the knowledge tab.

3. How often does the sync run?
The default sync is one time. If the periodic sync is enabled, content is fetched and indexed automatically on each sync.

4. Can I choose which pages to import?
Yes. During the Notion OAuth flow, you select exactly which pages to share with SparrowDesk. Only those pages are imported.
